Recommended Uses

WHERE TO APPLY: specially formulated for wooden items exposed to the exterior environment (balconies, cladding, beams, cottages, fences, gazeboes).

Application Instructions

HOW TO APPLY: by brush/spray.

ON NEW WOOD: sand using 150 grit sandpaper, then apply 1 or 2 coats on the sanded wood. It can be overcoated with the topcoats for exteriors HF 20**, the waxy topcoat HI 231* and enamels HL 20**. Drying time for the last coat: 4-6 hours.

ON PREVIOUSLY COATED WOOD: if the wood is treated with only stain, remove any dust and clean the surface, sand if required, and apply 1 or 2 coats of wood stain HI 20**. For wooden surfaces treated with topcoat, remove the old coating completely and process a with new wood.

Please note : The white waterbased wood stain HI 2019 is used only as a basestain for the application of the HL 20** series enamels or for applications with basestain only. It should not be overcoated with the topcoats, HF 20** and the waxy topcoat HI 231*.
